You know that scene in Forrest Gump where Jenny sees the house where she grew up & starts throwing rocks at it? Eventually Forrest has the house knocked down because it had upset her so much. That's how I feel about the town where I grew up. I can't even call it my hometown, because it never felt like home. I was born in the City of Chicago, and Chicago will always be my hometown. Aurora is just a suburban hellhole to me. I wouldn't shed a tear if the whole damned place was bulldozed to the ground.
