Just got back from the air show..
And instead of going inside the Navy Base, we parked to the left of it in the Target parking lot, along with around a couple hundred other people, and watched The Blue Angels from there. Target were cool about it, and were even selling water, coke & mountain dew in plastic bottles for a dollar to the crowd.
Everytime I see The Blue Angels I'm amazed and stand in awe. Some of the moves they do like flying towards each other then turning on their sides and passing within about 10 to 20 feet of each other, your heart just stops pounding for a second! A couple of other cool things they did were that the flew over the Target parking lot crowd lol, and gave us a show to see since we wen're on the runway. There was a thin bundle of tree's on the opposite side of the fence where we were, stood about 3 stories high, and whenever they'd fly over the tree's they'd miss 'em by a good 40 feet. It was loud, it was fun to watch, and hot & humid as hell with little wind breeze, but worth it every time to see heart-stopping moves like that. If you EVER get the chance to see an air show with The Blue Angels, I highly suggest you do so!
