Tomatoes Tomatoes Tomatoes!
I am living quite happily off of fresh garden tomatoes and basil. Spokane is fabulous in August. I plan to escape promptly at the end of the year (how much do you want to bet that I end up stuck here for the rest of my life).
School continues on at breakneck speed. We only have 2 ½ tests this week, which must be a record (usually it’s 3-4). Tomorrow I get to wake up at 0330 (aka bedtime) to go learn how to draw blood. Apparently I am a lazy phlebotomist and must relearn life without butterfly needles. I like being lazy. It’s my thing. Lazy. It’s the only thing I’m good at. Really!
Ummm… Yeah. I guess that’s it. Must go study enterobacteriaceae or something.
You know, I could really use a drink. It’s been a while. I believe there is something or several somethings with high alcohol content somewhere in the freezer. Maybe that will help me with the bacteria.
