physical details for Charlie
From just below his belly button upwards, Charlie is more or less an average-looking teen of mostly Indian descent. His shoulders are fairly broad, and once upon a time had a decent amount of muscle thanks to JV baseball and swimming, but two years of lounging around watching TV have kind of killed that. He's still fairly lean, though, and the faint traces of tone are still there. His dark hair usually needs a cut, falling anywhere from cheekbone to chin-length, and he's unable to grow facial hair that isn't a scraggly pedo-stache. Tragically, in his opinion. Likewise, chest hair is non-existent.
Below the waist, however, his skin transitions from a light brown to a pale, pale yellow, scales beginning around where the coccyx would be on a normal human body. His pelvic bone has also mutated, leaving him vestigial 'hips' but becoming more or less a leading pair of ribs for his tail below that, which is roughly twelve feet long and still growing. The ventral scales on his belly are a pale off-white with hints of blue fading to yellow, and his dorsal scales are mostly a dark brown with black spotting and two paler stripes running vertically down their length. In coloration, he's fairly similar to the buff-striped keelback, as seen here.
Before his mutation kicked in, Charlie was roughly 5'9" and still growing. Now, with his tail, he generally stands about 6' even, raising or lowering depending on mood or posture. If one thought snakes couldn't slouch, clearly one has never met Charlie.
