Ah what the fuck... ruining the country for another 4 years now are we?
The good news is that Bush can't run again. This election was decently interesting and controversial... what a screwed up situation this whole process was with Florida. I actually kept a close watch from the time I got out of class around 7pm until 6am the next morning. It was pretty close for most of the time, but always with Bush in the lead. I think the final outcome before Ohio was R 254 (51%) - D 252 (48%), then waking around 11, they finally announced after a long wait on Ohio, that Kerry would announce his decision to concede around 1pm. So Bush gained Ohio, and the outcome was R 274 - D 252.
To be fair and truthful, actually, I really didn't like either Kerry or Bush, though I thought Kerry was the lesser evil. I can't wait to see how this term goes... it pisses me off about some of Bush's main issues such as war, gay marriage, stem cell research, education policies, and how he mixes religion with state (separation of church and state, anyone?).
In other news, I am still waiting on my high speed internet kit to get here for me to install, I can't wait.
