Updates... on the job front, while I didn't get the dealer postion I have intervewed again at the casino for a slot attendant position. It might actually be better, in that there's more money to be made. Alison is good friends with the managers in the department and hopefully her influence will tip the odds in my favour.
I also went for testing for a security officer postion with Group 4 Security. They provide the security for the hospitals here in town and are hiring for positions at both. The test wasn't bad at all. They said they would be calling people based on the marks they get on the tests so hopefully I'll hear about that sometime soon.
Tomorrow night I am going to an 80's party that one of Alison's friends is having. I went with Ali today to find some clothes to wear. I got a really ugly shirt... very 80-'s though, some very light coloured, tight jeans... they are practically white, and a pair of sunglasses. Ali's dad is letting me borrow a white sports jacket to wear over the shirt... I'm going to roll up the sleaves a bit... for that added Miami Vice look. I don't have any 80's shoes though... I guess it's not a big deal.
I made all the music cds for the party... there was about 86 songs on the list Ali's friend made and I wound up finding all but one... it was Whitesnake - Still of the Night... but otherwise it's a very complete cross-section of 80's music, everything from A-Ha to Ratt.
Maybe I'll get some pictures taken and make a new user icon.
