Mouth Full Of Sand

Wow, I have been having way too much fun. I cant even put it into words....

NEWS FLASH! CHAD PERRONE HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT AVERI! "Well…some of the rumors that you have been hearing are true and we thought we owed it to all of you to be straight and direct about it. Chad Perrone has left Averi. He decided to go on an indefinite hiatus from the band with no guarantee of ever returning. His lack of commitment to the music, to us, and to all of you made a very powerful statement that his intentions were not to continue on with the band. For a long while now, Averi has been struggling to progress with a band member who did not want to be a part of the team and who was acting in a way that greatly reflected this. We thank you for your support in helping us get as far as we have in spite of this. It is really quite an accomplishment and we couldn’t have done it without you. We strongly believe in what we are doing, in the music, in each other and most of all, in you. This is why Averi has made the decision to continue on without Chad. No one person is Averi. Averi is a band and we have been, and will continue to be, one of the hardest working bands in the music industry. We have undergone many changes over the years and each time we have emerged bigger and better. This is just another one of those changes. We now have a bunch of very positive opportunities that will allow Averi to grow into what we are fully capable of being. We sincerely wish Chad luck in whatever he decides to do and hope that he finds himself in a position that is as fortunate as the one we are in. In addition, we want to thank all of you for sticking by us, supporting us through this transition and being open to the exciting new developments that are about to take place. We need your support now more than ever so again, thank you. We will continue to bring you the same songs you have come to love plus a ton of new material. This change has really allowed the rest of the band to blossom individually and we have already begun to work on new tunes. We will not let you down, not after all the support, love, effort and energy that you have all invested in Averi. We are fortunate enough to have many talented friends in many places who are converging as I write this to help take Averi over the top in 2006 and help us bring you a new and improved Averi that will make your jaw drop; we promise. We have a solid plan in place so make sure to check back in about a week as things firm up and we’ll fill ya in. We are psyched about the opportunities that are right around the corner and can hardly wait to tell you the rest. Stay tuned… With the utmost sincerity and gratitude, Mike, Chris, Matt, and Stu"

I am so upset about this, I really am. Chad has an amazing voice and I hope he continues to use his talent wherever he can but.. Averi.. my favorite band, he is a part of Averi. Averi will never be the same without him, and never will be as good as they were with him. This is terrible, really. I'm so thankful we saw them when we did, but I wish it wasnt the only time we would see Chad play with them. =[

But I understand things change and I am willing to accept this...
