I decided to whip up a quick lunch today after returning from the DMV. After I got out all the ingredients I was shocked. Not only had I pulled out actual ingredients instead of a hot pocket, I had even pulled out spices.
And then I looked over at the window and saw my little tomato plant that I had grown from seeds.
It's been alive a whole five months! My record is a lot longer--six years--but it is a cactus so it's a born cheater. It survived so much neglect and still flowered.
Clearly my life has changed a bit in the past half year.
