And I agree with Coldlikedeath....THere just sportsmen doing sth where they are suppose to be good at.....why spending such incredible lots of money when there are still ppl in Britain that cannot afford proper food or heating.....

No I am not jealous and happy for them to win, but don't put them on a pedestal as we have seen sport has become very comercial and for that reason alone most sporters don't play fair but using doping....Is that an example you want to give to your youth.
I have never been proud of the country I just happen to be born in...it is just a matter of "luck" I believe that we should be one world instead of little pittyful countries competing against each other.

I didn't say a damn thing about America.
Yes, I'm aware people inspire people and good luck to them. But I think you missed the point. The TITLE of the programme fucked me off cos they ain’t heroes, just normal day to day people like you and I.
Yes, Irish people wanted to be treated as a separate country, but I don't feel we are whatsoever. Sometimes. I mean, “the UK” often includes England, Wales and Scotland- what the fuck about N. Ireland? Unfortunately, we are part of the UK, however much I hate the notion because I think the Government can be a bunch of wankers.
