Reviewing an old post of mine:
It's almost the epitome of wonkish, nerdy, left-wing political geekitude to admit this, but I watched Barack Obama's Democratic convention speech on PBS tonight.
Suffice to say, he kicked ass. You don't have to agree with his politics (although they're fairly hard to argue against); but regardless, you gotta admit it's fun to raise your fist in the air and chant "Obama! Obama!" It's like being part of a revolution in a small African country, or something.
I'm wary of saying "he's going places" as so many others have, just because it so easily invites disaster. That said... this guy's going places.
