...how Sarah Palin can be, in Fred Thompson's words, "a courageous, successful, reformer, who is not afraid to take on the establishment," when she's being glowingly endorsed by the same guys who've been running the government for the past eight years?

I mean, how can you take on the establishment when the establishment publicly declares it loves you, and you give every indication of being happy to be a continuation of said establishment?
