A Hero's Trial

Jun 25, 2005 22:10

Darkness soars
Sorrow flies
And yet the fire burns in his eyes
The shadow creeps upon his trench
Thinking him unaware asleep on the bench
The shadow steps, a line is crossed
It seems our hero has already lost
But our hero smiles, his mind not at rest
The blade is blessed with the honorable crest
he leaps through the fog
The dark rooling mist
His body and blade, both moving in a twist
A twist, thrust, a firey glare
By time he is done
The shadow's no longer there
Never again
To be seen anywhere
