Colleges, Family, and bowling

So i'm not even home right now. I'm actually in Richmond, VA. Day 3 of the Virginia Private College Week, and tomorrow is the last day for me. So let's back up a day or two, Sunday night my dad and i left herndon around 7 PMish and that is when the college touring began. On monday we checked out Washington and Lee, and while my dad liked it, me, not so much. Just didn't feel right there, kinda that off feeling if ya know what i mean. We then went next door to VMI (Virginia Military Institute) which is awesome. I know, you think i'm crazy for wanting to go there but man, I felt right at home at that place. So during the fall and spring i'm going to some open house events there, spend a night, sit in on some classes, get a good feel for the place. Then on tuesday we visited Lynchburg College in the morning. Lynchburg was about what i expected it to be, which was a pretty nice campus and school. We then went home as fast as we could so we could go to the Nationals Vs. Dodgers game with the Porto's like we had planned. The game was a total blast, the dodgers won by one run, and my dad got Tommy Lasorda's autograph! For all you non dodgers people, that's a very good thing, and a very big deal. Then today we woke up and repacked and left the house around 11:30 to come back down to Bridgewater College. Bridgewater was a very nice school, pretty much tied with lynchburg in my mind. Then dad and i came and checked into the hotel, and watched a little bit of The Day After Tomorrow. Then we left and had dinner at a good italian place and went bowling. So not my night for that one, dad beat me again. Whenever i play him i suck, but against my friends i'm good. Arg, such is life. Tomorrow we get up early and go tour the University of Richmond and Randolph Macon College. We then head home and chill. Until friday for me, when i get to go on a NJROTC "field trip" to Norfolk to go on the USS Harry S. Truman (aircraft carrier) when it actually leaves port, that means it actually GOES somewhere, not just sitting at the dock! I'll be home from that around 5ish on saturday night, and then i go to a party on sunday. Busy week but i don't mind. Well i'm off for now, hopefully i'll update again soon but don't hold me to that.
