9 Days for them, 7 for me.
Just a little over a week until Naka-kon hits. I'll be taking all of next week off work. I still have classes, though which I hope won't get in the way too much.
I've got a tax return due on Tuesday, an exam next Wednesday, and another Tax memo due the Thursday afterward. Those are the big things on my agenda. Naka-kon is important to me, but those items will take some precedence.
Because I'm high up in the hierarchy, I'm going to be at the convention hotel from Wednesday until Monday. Lots of meetings scheduled with the hotel and staff for last minute changes and adjustments. This is very likely the longest time I've ever spent in a hotel. In Toronto, I was staying at friends' houses before and after the two nights in the DoubleTree or Radisson.
I ended up filling two slots on my Programming staff with friends of mine whom I can trust with doing a good job and following orders. I <3 my friends.
