Pride of 87

today at work was clean-up day. besides filling my lungs with acrid chemical air, I also found some guy's class ring.
weird.
weird, but awesome because it is from 1987 and has been sitting on top of some dishwashing dispenser for at least four years. I knew I would end up losing a class ring if I ordered one; that coupled with the fact that our salesman's name was Spud and his father's name was Tater and his son's name was Chip kept me from purchasing a class ring from Brooks County. Oh, and the fact that I went to Brooks CountyHS helped that decision as well. Anyway, the ring is fun. It is from Lyon County, which I found out is in Kentucky, and their mascot is....a lion. You guessed it. The fellow who owned it is named Tim (his name is right above the snarling, attacking lion. it's coming at you with both claws. so, if anyone knows a guy from Lyon County, Kentucky who graduated in 1987 and lost his ring, hit me back and we can bring the two together. or we can pawn it and get a dollar.
