good news at last
Hey, finally good news in my life!
1) The school play is so much fun. I've met a bunch of people, learned a lot of dance, and it's just generally a great experience. I can't wait 'til we do singing.
2) Getting better at dancing (cha-cha slide yessss).
3) Chinese School final tomorrow cancelled because of snow!! Delayed for a week!!!
4) Sax lessons on Sunday are cancelled.
5) Joined the new Lakeland Film Club. Hope to be a writer, actor, and musician for the soundtrack. Spectacular turnout for a new club!
That aside, some things have happened as a result of my clarinet/saxophone lessons:
- My saxophone playing has become much more expressive and proficient
- I've learned numerous shortcuts to the clarinet, but it hasn't been worked on as much
- I discovered my main problem on the saxophone is clean tonguing
- I discovered that when I put new reeds on the clarinet, they will often cause me to play at a much worse quality until a chip breaks off the reed or something similar; then I'll be able to play much better; I have yet to discover the reason why, so I'll need to find out.
My ramblings are now over, and I shall now thoroughly enjoy my weekend. Maybe I'll work on my website... As with everything else, if I start updating regularly, I should be able to do so regularly for a very long time. Seeing as I'm always too lazy to do it in the first place, I'm at a stalemate. Yuup.
