Uni's finished for the semester and I've got some time off work as I can't go over a certain income limit for the financial year. This means that for the first time in ages I've got nothing to do. It's blissfull. Watching lots of movies, shopping too much. Will turned 21 yesterday so we've spent a few days quietly celebrating.

Stupid english weather. Sat down for my first dose of tennis goodness last night and there was less than an hour of play. I'm hoping tonight is better. Henman's going to last all of two seconds as he's meeting Federer in the second round. I've had to nominate a new favourite. Mario Ancic is my new man. I'd give anything to be magically transported to Wimbledon tonight.

Received an sms from Alexis today bearing the remarkable news that when Placebo tour in September they'll be coming to Canberra. They haven't played here since they supported Silverchair back in 1999. I never went to that show cause I couldn't afford it and support sets are always short. Pity I can't stand Silverchair. Anyway, I'm thrilled that this time I won't have to go to Sydney to see them. Of course Tori Amos was scheduled to play Canberra and that was cancelled in favour of a second Sydney show. If that happens to Placebo, someone's head is going to roll. The support is a band called Howling Bells whom I've never heard of before. Had a quick listen to a few tracks and I have to say, I'm rather impressed. I think I'll have to go pick up the album.

So what's new with you?
