what a day!!!!
i was walking to the bus stop and came to an intersection i cross all the time. the light was green. green means go. i'm about to step into the street to cross when a pizza delivery car speeds up and turns right in front of me. i mean RIGHT on front of me. he was turning right, and if i hadn't stopped myself from taking another step i'd have been hit.
i gather my thoughts for a second. double check it's clear and go again. this time i'm in the middle of crossing when some middle aged man speeds and turns left RIGHT INTO ME. i literally had to jump out of the way.
2 near death moments within a minute, within 3 feet.
once i reached the other side of the road i called my mom to tell her i love her.
