I love this election. There are an infinite number of polar opposites going on at the same time. I have a feeling that teachers, professors, politicians and the general public will remember fondly this ongoing battle and will try to learn from, manipulate, and steal from the lessons being taught right now.
No matter who likes whom, no one can deny the opposites present:
young vs old
(the obvious) white vs black
man vs woman
history vs history
tired vs peppy
good vs bad?
military vs scholar
rural vs developed
old fashioned vs new
states vs states
And how does the Internet factor into this incredible race?
This is the perfect time to examine one's life and one's position in local, regional, national, and global communities. After all, "The unexamined life is not worth living," says Socrates.
