I've had some time to chill out. Got some Christmas shopping done. Eating some chicken noodle soup. So, I'm going to take a few minutes to be more specific about why I hate my job. Mainly for venting purposes. Maybe also for some vindication

Want me to kick his ass? Pete and I could throw the smack down on that peacock! I like Amy's idea about going over his head to complain about his language and treatment of employees. You know bosses aren't supposed to talk to other non management types about other employees? And he's certainly not supposed to make disparaging remarks about any religion. I also like the plan where you start looking for another job. I know money is a necessity but that doesn't mean you have to deal with that kind of bullshit. Good luck and I hope you feel better. Feel free to stop by any Sunday afternoon for some alone time with the piano to write.

My best friend is a manager for Aero up here and I can tell you, there are few reasons when you need a doctor's note. (Like if you called in on Black Friday, called in all the time, was a no-call, no show, etc.) So he's full of crap. Not to mention, he sounds like a dreamboat to work with.

I'd say call the HR hotline or Compliance line or whatever they have, if you can't get a hold of the District Manager. (Or if you don't feel comfortable) That's a whole load of bullcrap, is what that is.
