If it had not been for the faint stare-light that cut through the thin canopy of cloud cover, it would have been pitch black last night. Those dark foggy masses loitered over the horizon like a worn blanket on a homeless bum, randomly marring different sections of the park from my curious eyes. It was enough for me to see her though. She just kept running. Back at the gym she acted like she didn't even know me. It made me so mad that I just lost it. I had to make her remember us again so I used a rock to make her quiet. Then I took her to my place so we could talk privately. After all, these personal moments carry with them a private nature, and we wouldn't want the whole neighborhood hearing our business. Some people might even get mad and call the police. And disturbing the peace is a crime. The last thing I want is trouble with the law.
When she came to her senses I had something to cheer her up. It was from my coloring book, the best picture I ever made. It was a circus elephant balancing on three balls stacked on top of each other as he juggled torches with a huge grin on his animated cartoon face. I held her head so she could see because that's what a gentlemen does. That's when she told me she thought she was in love, and then we kissed. It was on the lips too. Just like in a movie I saw one time.
