I don't know how I got into the habit of only posting to my personal journal on Fridays, so I waited a day to screw that up, LOL.
I went and saw pAUL today, because I cannot resist Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. They're hilarious and witty and I love it. I wasn't disappointed, though I do think that being actually AT the movies rather than watching at home made it funnier than it actually is. It's amusing, and there are some moments that I loved, but I think in retrospect this is a movie that'll play better on the big screen than a little one.
Also dropped by the mall so me and my friend (who saw the movie with me and helped through that GIANT tub of popcorn) could buy new work shoes. We had to go to Spencer's because she'd never been and I picked myself up a zombie torso shirt. Looks like a bikini body, but it's all zombified! It's going to horrify my Nana, so I am thus amused.
In TV news...
• Community - I'm sorry, but I'm just not feeling Britta. I never really did. And the sheer awkwardness of her in the recent episode which I take was supposed to endear her did the OPPOSITE for me. (Also, ENVER SHOULD NEVER LEAVE MY TV AGAIN.)
• Bedlam - That was the finale? Seriously? You answered nothing. NOTHING. I love you, I really do, but you made me want to throw something at my screen. That being said, I'm still gonna write more fic for you, even though ff.net refuses to give you a category.
• Being Human (US) - Have I mentioned that I've gotten my Nana addicted to this show? True story. I like it, it's...different and alot lighter/fluffier than the original. I'm happy it's getting a second season. The werewolf is slowly starting to grow on me, and I also FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHO THE GHOST IS REMINDING ME OF. SHE REMINDS ME OF CLAUDIA FROM WAREHOUSE 13. SHE LOOKS A BIT LIKE HER, SOUNDS ALOT LIKE HER, AND OMG, THE CASTING DIRECTOR ON SYFY LIKE CARBON COPIED ALLISON AND MADE HER DARKER AND PUT HER ON BEING HUMAN. (Small note, I ADORE Allison Scagliotti so this is not a bad thing.)
• Being Human (UK) - *sobs*
• Bones - We're slowly getting back to where we need to be, friendship-wise between Booth and Brennan, so I'm happy. That being said...can we bring Sully back?
• Pretty Little Liars - Can we bring Caleb back?
*shrugs* Off to work on my submission to tv20in20.
