Wut-y Wut?
Yesterday was fic!day for me, and I actually completed something which made me very happy.
That made today graphic!day, though, and I'm EXTRA pleased with what I did today. I made icons for Haven 1x02 "Butterfly" (no Duke, sadly), and then made some Sarah Shahi headers...and yes, I'm wearing my favorite of those three right now!
I got a bit irritated though because I kept trying to make some Haven wallpapers, and then headers...and then colorbars, but none of them seemed to want to work. I think it was more me than the graphics, though. I just wasn't feeling it after working on the icons for so long.
Now, to the David Tennant news!
I finally got around to watching Hamlet. Yes. YES.
He was brilliant. Absolutely frakking brilliant. His moods were so mercurial, from gleeful madness to murderous rage, and I didn't even mind having to do the split-second translation of the Elizabethan lingo (which is one of the reasons I hate period pieces, btw). He was just...he was David Tennant. (And Sir Patrick Stewart wasn't half bad either.) I think at this point in the game I'll watch/steal anything with David Tennant in it.
ON THAT NOTE...
WAS THE PILOT FOR "REX IS NOT YOUR LAWYER" EVER LEAKED? I KNOW IT DIDN'T GET PICKED UP, BUT I STILL DESPERATELY WANT TO SEE IT.
