Oh, Gossip Girl, how you thrill me...
Am I the only one who kinda likes Cameron/Blair? With his wool sweater that he never takes off and his cute little quiet nature. I'm so very in love with Chuck/Blair and their very epic love story, but even I need a wee bit of a break and...well...they kinda need some space these days. They've gone through some extreme feckery this season. They're meant to be, clearly, but it doesn't have to be NOW. It could be years before they realize their destiny. That they're FATED. They can love and lose others, grow as people, and THEN become the epic!soul mates they are. WHY DO PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND THIS? Every love story doesn't have to be immediate satisfaction, right NOW.
Also, that being said...there was a spoiler on Ausiello, BE AWARE OF THE SPOILER-Y NATURE OF THE REST OF THIS POST...that said ***** and ***** would be hooking up in the finale. The promo leaked that its most likely Jenny and Chuck hooking up...but...BUT...what if it's a play on words? WHAT IF IT'S DAN(NY) and BLAIR HOOKING UP? HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE? Yesh, I ship it, just for the mind feckery of it. Think of the witty little conversation Serena and Blair would have about Blair hooking up with her ex?
That being said, I still haven't seen the Blair/Jack episodes. I CAN'T WATCH IT. I CAN'T WATCH BLAIR AND CHUCK BRING ABOUT THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION AGAIN. IT KILLS ME.
You can totally tell that Amy was not so much into Rory on Doctor Who. Like, she settled for him when the Doctor wasn't there, but now that he IS she wants to upgrade.
Also, vampires on Doctor Who are...I don't know, I wasn't loving it. I loved his reaction to them, but I wasn't loving THEM. I'm pretty much burned out on vampires right about now.
On a shippy level, this episode...left me terribly uncomfortable. I DON'T WANT TO SHIP AMY/11, SO PLEASE STOP FORCING IT ON ME, DAMNIT. I CAN SEE THE CHEMISTRY, MAYBE, BUT IF YOU KEEP SHOVING IT DOWN MY THROAT I'M GOING TO CHOKE, DAMNIT. AND THAT MEANS I WON'T LIKE IT. *runs away*
I went crazy with the book shopping in the last few weeks, got some books that look terribly AWESOME though.
What I bought:
Burned, by P.C. and Kristin Cast
Dead in the Family, by Charlaine Harris
Feed, by Mira Grant
My Soul to Take, by Rachel Vincent
Those last two are paperback, and though I ADORE Rachel Vincent, and own everything else she's published, this is her youth fiction series I've never read before. I absolutely LOVE everything else she's written, though, so I've high hopes. As for Feed, by Mira Grant, I've never read her before, but the book looks terribly awesome. (It's a zombie novel, y/y.)
Anyways, off to watch telly and read books!
ETA: And I'm watching Primeval for the first time and OMG, Andrew Lee Potts is so adorable with his longer hair and being adorable. I think I'm in LOOOOOVE.
