Wow was that possinly the most beautiful yet depressing fic I have read in the NCIS fandom for the longest time. The flower metaphor flowed and fit into the story so perfectly. I could see every scene in my head and that's a mark of one hell of a fic/literary work :)

I certainly felt every death as it was described and I can sadly see that Gibbs the stubborn bastard that he is could be the last one standing etc.
