I like it... I can see Gibbs telling Fornell something along the lines of, "You get him for now, but his ass is mine as soon as Vance is out the door. And Tobias... if he so much as gets a paper cut, they'll never find the body. Abby will see to it."

And I love the thought of a toothpick going into a certain part of Vance's anatomy... lots and lots of toothpicks.
