I know- the poor boy is so burdened by guilt. I think he needs a hug. *volunteers*

Glad you liked it!

Yeah he does have that habit of being a hero and thinking of the consequences later. LOL and I love the medic telling David not to get into any "bitch slap fights" cuz that would so happen with David...*giggling insanely over that*...this was cute and so loving the boys together. Awesome missing scene!

Hey, who says that David wouldn't get into a bitch slap fight(other than all logic)? *tries to keep straight face*

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Every time I read that line, I picture big buff David and crack up over the thought of him in a bitch slap fight...I dunno why, but it's just an amusing image. Yeah, I loved the story...and just the images you brought to my mind...thanks, I needed that as I lay in bed with a fever. (Gotta love laptops.)

Aw, well, I hope you feel better! And yeah, whoever invented the laptop is my hero.

i enjoyed the story, but as an emt that hangs out with firefighters when not running calls, I had serious issues with the fire and also know that we don't carry aloe or cool packs on our medic. Maybe the do in LA since different jurisdictions can do slightly different things. Sorry, it's not just you and numb3rs, it's any story or show I watch now that involves the fire department that i'm critiquing and criticizing for mistakes that they make.

Yeah, I figured that they wouldn't exactly have aloe and cool packs in an ambulance, but I figured if the writers of NUMB3RS could get away with all the, uh, creative license they took with the fire scene on national television; I could get away with this one. I totally understand being annoyed by inaccuracies on stuff (I've been banned from being in the room when anyone watches CSI because I rip the forensics apart). And the fire scene kind of bugged me, too (no coughing, really? Seriously?).

Inaccuracies aside, I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
