[For Willy]

School started in a week, so Bobby was trying to get everything ready, because he knew how quickly schoolwork and his job would eat up his time once classes resumed. He'd cleaned the apartment, made sure his finances were in order and the money his parents sent each term had arrived, and deleted all of his homework from the previous term from his ( Read more... )

Willy had his invitation free and clear and so when he grew weary of playing for change he found his way to Bobby's and let himself in without so much as knocking. He smiled at the young man and tossed his coat onto a chair carelessly after he gently put his guitar in the corner.

"Hello, sweet," he said warmly. "And how have you been today?"

Bobby tilted his head back as he heard the door open, flashing a somewhat upside-down grin at Willy before he set aside the laptop and got to his feet. "Not bad. I didn't work today, so I took care of some stuff around here, now I'm just relaxing. Hungry?" Before he could reply, though, Bobby kissed him hello, a soft, lingering kiss as his arms wrapped loosely around Willy's waist.

Willy purred his approval and smiled against the kiss, his hands finding Bobby's waist and holding on.

"I'm famished," he replied when the kiss broke. "And you have chow mein. Is there enough for us both?"

"Yup. I got enough to last me a few days, so there's plenty. Fried rice, too." And sweet and sour chicken, but he didn't volunteer that one. He could cut the meat out of most dishes easily enough but he'd tried sweet and sour tofu and it...just didn't work.

He'd just put the chicken in the fridge for later. He grinned and kissed Willy again quickly, then released him so he could go grab the chow mein and take it to the kitchen to get actual plates.

"Rice and noodles, then," he said happily, moving to the couch so he could flop down and sprawl out. He was quite content to let Bobby serve him and he saw no need to help.

"What are you doing on your computer?" he asked, noticing that the boy had his email open. He wasn't above peeking.

Really, it was Chinese take out, Bobby could handle it all on his own. He got down two plates and dished up some noodles and rice for both of them. After storing the leftovers in the fridge he carried the food over to the couch and held out a plate to Willy with a smile. "So how was your day?"

"My day was remarkable. I wandered the market for a while and played, then I found a vendor who makes the most lovely tea blends. I didn't buy any but I did sit and drink tea with him until the sun was high. After that...I don't remember. Nothing of import," he said. It was much like most of his days. He did what felt good.

Willy had an interesting definition of remarkable, but Bobby just grinned, settling down on the couch with his food. "Sounds like a good day."

"And what all have you done, my sweet? I see you're in your e-mail," he said, saying the word like it was something absolutely foreign to him. In a way it was. He didn't ever dare to touch Bobby's computer for fear he would have some disastrous affect on the technology.

"Not much, really. Life's going to get hectic soon enough, so I've been trying to get ready for school to start again," he explained with a shrug, digging into the rice.

He glanced at the laptop when Willy mentioned it. "I was just emailing my mom and dad." He left it at that, not really wanting to get into his family.

"Once your classes begin I shall never see you," Willy pouted dramatically. "You will be married to your books..."

Bobby chuckled and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "I promise I won't ignore you. Although we should probably make the most of the next week, just in case," he teased, grinning.

"And what would you like to do, my sweet? What is your heart's desire for what time we have?" Willy asked warmly.

"Oh, I don't have anything in particular in mind. As long as I spend it with you," Bobby replied, grinning. He didn't care if he sounded sappy and ridiculous. Being around Willy made him ridiculously happy, most of the time.

"Perhaps we could take a trip," Willy suggested. "We could get out of the city. I could take you to the crystal gardens, or perhaps the cloud forest of the faerie realm. I could show you wonders before you find your nose to the grindstone."

Bobby sat up, staring at Willy in surprise. "You want to take me to Faerie? Really?" He grinned a little. "That never ends well in books, but...I would love that."
