Recieved a great phone call today. I have been hired at 18$ an hour for a month contract with a possible extension of another 6 months if the company likes me.
I will be programming in Perl to perform on teh fly queries of various bank and other databases to ascertain a number of things about customers credit cards: whether or nor their cards have been stolen, if the customer has been blacklisted, and other validating functions. I will also write scripts to make sure that the API is working as it is supposed to.
All this and I get to do it from home.
We will see how it works out.
