Walking funny.
Oh its great to be back on the shore, in my own room, away from everyone.
A typical day on the ship:
Wake up, eat something, fix the helicopter for twelve hours. If the helicopter is gone or there is nothing to fix (yeah right) you can watch movies in the shop, or try to find a quiet place to read. If you can't find a place to read you go back to the shop and watch whatever they are watching. Go back to sleep at the end of your twelve hours.
First day of time away from the ship:
-Called the family.
-Bought cds, fast food, magazines. Rented a couple movies and watched them at my leisure.
-Developed film.
-Went to the library and picked up the next in my Wheel of Time series.
-Walked (and ran a little, because you can never just run on the ship) to the golf course and hit golf balls at the driving range in the dark. I like hitting golf balls in the dark because you can hit them past the lights and it makes you think you hit them much farther than they are really going because you can't see them land.
-Played Ghost Recon.
-Fell asleep with no bothersome noises coming from anywhere.
I may be in Japan but I feel pretty good despite it. I got the new Kaye West cd and its the only rap album I have ever listened to all the way through twice in one day.
