I’m glad I got the tension across - I was writing it with a rigid spine and hunched shoulders the entire time. And I’ve always found handwriting fascinating, especially how you can’t “fake” it. There’s always a semblance of “you” in it no matter what, so I figured that would be an excellent way to show how Ruki is a strong, real presence inside of Takanori. And of course, there is the songwriter characteristic we know him for :D
I’m so, so happy that you like the portrayal of split personalities here ;A; I’m very interested in the concept, mostly to do with how the GazettE have these “stage personas” and so I had to do my own take of it xD You always point things out, though, that I never noticed before - such as how most fics “keep one locked away forever to resume a normal life”. I honestly didn’t even pick up on that whilst I was reading split personality fics, but I’m so glad that my take was fresh in your eyes :)
