These Motions
He tries to stretch his smile into a goofy grin, the same one that he finds himself sporting in those black-and-white reels of past Lives - when his fingers were flying across the copper chords, when he let his feet (his heart) prance towards the left side of the stage, when those stage lights dimmed and the audience paused and now it’s just them beside each other breathing in, gasping, sputtering, sighing like they were always -
The attempt falls to the wayside, and Aoi is left with a half-hearted twisting of his mouth. They aren’t anything.

He still has the randomly placed braids in his hair from the live they did yesterday and a few red streaks clipped in here and there. Yuu still can’t get used to seeing the bright, honeyed locks - even though it’s already been a week since Kouyou self-consciously fingered a strand of gold and asked Yuu if he liked it.
Shear Madness
Aoi gave the pair a hesitant smile, “Um, hi. I’d like to get a quick trim if it’s not too much trouble - sorry I don’t have an appointment or anythi - ”
“You’re fine - it’s fine! It’s fine, right Ruki? It’s totally fine. I mean we’d let you know if it wasn’t fine, but it is definitely fine. You’re fine. Fine.” Uruha beamed.
Marathon
He catches stars in glass jars - keeps their fire close to his chest for a breath of a moment - before he sets them (Yuu) free.
PULSATION
Aoi could feel his teeth grit and his lip start to curl in a beautiful snarl.
He saw the way Reita breathed out, saw how Uruha leaned forward - saw everything.

All My Pieces (love you)
(this is actually a Halloween 2011 piece I'm working on~)
It’s in the shape of a heart.
The purple bruise of infection has a pulse, held in by trembling lines - as if Uruha had drawn it himself in a fit of drunken laughter while Aoi’s lips tilted in an amused smirk. But it’s a little too dark, a little too deep, sinking into Aoi’s bone as it splays across his wrist. The heart has teeth and when Aoi traces it with a clammy finger - eyes chained and breath shallow - Uruha feels his own chest start to stutter and scream and take-me-instead.
Holy shit this is a long... XD

I think my favorite is...god I love them all, but the most intriguing to me is All My Pieces <3 Can't wait till Halloween to see it ^^

Haha, and there's something definitely inviting at Shear Madness too. I liked the authorial tone and how amusing everything seemed to me.
