Long time away is Long...
So...
I've been trying to start catching up with all my "social networking stuff".
Lately, a lot of good has happened to me. First, by August I will be making 40% more than I was at the start or May. This will finally put me in line with the rest of those that do my type of job in the industry +/- $15,000 (but more plus than minus).
Second, I am getting a new vehicle this Friday, I will be the proud owner of a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan in Silver. The funny story to go with it is that two nuns use to own this vehicle and while it might not be true, apparently they did drive Cardinal Ratzinger around, though I cannot find anything that ever says he's visited the Archdioceses of London, Ontario. Though through an intermediate, I could get information on the minivan from the IT people at the Archdioceses. Though some people have already started calling it the pope mobile x.x
Also, my current car is worth more as scrap than it is as a trade-in and I'll be scrapping it on Friday. YAY!
I've also joined a gym and I had my first of four preliminary assessments today. Apparently I only have 38% body fat and so my ideal weight will be 240lbs, so I have a goal to decrease my weight by 80lbs in roughly a year. I'd really like to do it sooner though. Also based on other factors, I need more sleep and need to spend a lot less time doing whatever it is that I do...
I think that's a pretty good update, though I will be going to AC, only because of my boy, Bariki. God, if I didn't love him, I'd miss AC as I find it _too_ large for the sort of social networks I like to cultivate, though I need to work on that...
