An older edit I started:

The weekend before last I interviewed a family friend about his experiences in Vietnam. An article about the art of Vietnam Vets shows his most famous photo, Mama San, as well as giving some background about the photo and some interesting quotes. He is the first one listed in the article.

Also, several people came to talk to my Vietnam class. One was this fellow who was drafted into the army, and served basically as a foot soldier. They were left out in the fields with supplies dropped into them, no leadership (no officers) and left to fend for themselves. I guess that's one way to make people into killing machines---give them no choice. Seems kind of immoral though.

I was going to offer to a clip from the Interview, but it is on the other computer.
