Record 73B, September 2010. Right hand. Puncture wound to the first dorsal interosseous, lacerations along the skin. No cuts to bone, no tendon or ligament damage. Symptoms include pain over the injury site, inability to move the forefinger, bruising and swelling. *rustle of cellophane* If not properly treated, could lead to deformity and permanent loss of function, but problems not anticipated due to source of injury and ample supply of antibiotics. Healing expected to take up to two weeks.

Accident occurred at 11:33pm, during ...*cough, sound of lighter clicking... exhalation* ...during the testing and feeding of a vampire. Note to self: no more testing on vampires that haven't eaten in more than a day.
