The State of the Mind Address
Left to do:
1. Native American Lit: Read the short story and have some really good discussion points. Due tomorrow.
2. Design & Illustration: Finalize three more designs for my project. Put the rest of this semester's work on CD. Due Wednesday.
3. Contemporary Art Themes: Write a five-page paper about Anslem Keifer's art we saw in North Adams a couple weeks ago, and relate it to something else we talked about in class. Due Thursday.
4. Poetry Workshop: Write a five-page paper as a "statement of poetics"--what I think poetry is, what should it be used for, etc. Compile a portfolio of everything I've written this year, including drafts. Due Friday.
5. Senior Show: Choose out of the photos I've marked off, which are my final picks for the show. Decide if I should include any design projects that I'm particularly proud of. Somehow get them printed since now I can't do it on my own time in Tower after Neil broke the damn printer up there. Submit to the Gallery. Due Thursday.
6. New Englander Internship: Write a three-page reflection talking about what I learned this semester with specific examples, as well as ideas that they can use for the newspaper next year. Fix up the resume. Print photos that have shown up in the paper as a portfolio. Due Monday.
7. Just Us Four: Not academic, but is taking up just as much time. Practice about three times this week. Concert on Monday at 7:30 8:00.
But am I doing this? Nah. My brain's pinging off the walls. Buzzzzzzzzz.
