I really want to go see The Fray at the electric factory on May 21 - any takers???
I am coming home on thursday, and I am enjoying this relaxing week after a really stressful last week. It was full of exams - I had four, so pretty much everyday I had one.
I hosted a prospective student, which was a lot of fun. She was really quiet, and she asked me a lot about the substance free housing, so i didnt even bother to ask her if she wanted to go out, which kind of a bummer being that it was suposed to be a detox weekend from all my stress. BUt on Saturday I took her to this event they had at our "Hawks Nest" which is a three story diner with game rooms and a huge dance floor, they had a dj, a psychic, and caricature artists. It was a lot of fun, more than i thought it would be, but it was really difficult getting her to meet a lot of people. So i took it upon myself to meet the other prospectives, make friends with thtem and then introduce Jillian (my prospective). That worked out well, but some of the boys took it the wrong way, i think they thought they were being hit on by a college girl - haha.
All in all it was a good experience and i think i will do it again next year - maybe. and she was deciding between three schools, but when i talked to her, she said lehigh was defintely where she wanted to be, and after talking to kenny herring, and showing him around Lehigh las wednesday, i think i have a 100% success rate with recruiting incoming freshman. I should be paid for this!
