Steyr Woche
Just as I said, I went to Steyr for the rather extended weekend. Went on Thursday, and home the next Tuesday. Kristy joined us for a couple of nights there as well. I got my suitcase and enjoyed coffee with Karin on Friday. Hiked around cold wet Steyr Saturday and Sunday. I had the best homemade hot chocolate ever. We were served mugs of warm milk, with 2 chocolate truffles to melt in it. Yum. Katie's roommate is currently in Peru, so we took advantage of having the whole place. Cooked a lot.
Headed back to the big city on Tuesday in time for Chinese. I really should study more. Especially since I will be missing class this coming week. Wednesday I had class (1) and then went to John's office and did some translation work for them. I think I may try to do more of it in ths future. Johnny and I enjoyed drinks with a couple of co-workers, and sushi dinner at Naschmarkt.
Today I got up early and went and picked up my Visa. All went smoothly. Did not have to deal with evil lady much, and my name was called rather quickly. Since I had allotted so much time for this, I got to go to a cafe and enjoy coffee and a schoko croissant before heading into school.
Tomorrow one class and more translation. Regular weekend, teach monday, then heading to Rome Tuesday night! I am excited!
