Rules: Write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you.
1. I've started this thing multiple times, but found myself putting down things that I thought were either too crazy to share, or that people probably wouldn't be interested in knowing. Here goes again.
2. I spent my day off Monday cleaning, and am pleased by this. Sometimes it's not hard to tell which parent you get a trait from.
3. For a nerd, I have little to no interest in technology or scientific concepts. I can see them effecting the quality of my life, but not the way in which I live it.
4. I have the recipe for the worlds best Indian food I've ever eaten, but I can't read the guy's handwriting.
5. I think art is the path to understanding God.
6. I hate wearing shoes, and long pants. Unfortunately, I like having a paycheck more.
7. Music is easily one of my favorite things, but I have no musical talent.
8. I'm still recovering from overdosing on reading in college. I hope to once again have the capacity to gorge myself on books.
9. For a massive introvert, I've managed to have a wide and disparate circle of friends, and I sometimes wonder how.
10. My continued inability to light people on fire with my mind is proof of a just and loving God. Otherwise, no two people would not be on fire.
11. I'm more of an optimist than most people think. I've just learned not to be surprised when shit falls apart.
12. I can't comprehend the idea that everyone doesn't come from a massive and loving family.
13. I believe that morality is inherent, and cannot be taught.
14. I love key lime pies.
15. I have a wooden chicken on a stick overlooking my room.
16. I enjoy the concept of taxes.
17. I can't take the sound of a nail-file, or a rake on concrete, but nails down a chalkboard don't bother me.
18. It's exceedingly rare for me to lie, absent hyperbole. The common exception to this is when people ask me what I do for a living.
19. I'm trying to cultivate a taste for black coffee.
20. I fully intend on double dipping this post.
21. One of my earliest memories is of being terrified in the Koala habitat in the San Diego Zoo.
22. I know what he's building in there.
23. The most sonically interesting conversation I've ever heard was a friend of mine slipping in-between English and Vietnamese while arguing with her mother.
24. I've been slowly putting up my collection of masks and pictures around the apartment, and find myself attempting to do so at personally meaningful moments.
25. I can touch my knee to my forehead, and my thumb to my forearm.
