Been here a year now.
I'm fairly pleased with where things stand.
Life is proceeding apace (though sometimes a bit slowly).
Spent last Saturday night bar hopping with a gaggle of friends. Got to see a full marching band in costume. Mad Scientist on drums. Werewolf on sax. Mummy on tuba. It was quite a sight.
I had never seen Cap Hill's reputation as the gay district quite so justified. There was the gay couple that were dressed as Jolly Green Giants, the gay Anakin Skywalker, and the dude who had the body of an underwear model, walking around in nothing but a pair of tidy whities. I believe pictures of his ass are still on Skick's phone.
As the first thing we did when I got to town was eat Thai, I dragged everyone to a Thai restaurant last night. I do enjoy my little rituals.
