oh oh this fic surprised me at every turn!
at first i thought that kris was on some kinky forum looking for a one night stand and then there was the noose and i thought, oh okay he's into that, and then oh he's trying to kill himself. says a lot about me when the first conclusion i jumped to was sex

when that part about tao using his time travelling powers came (didn't expect powers in this fic!) i went back and reread everything and it all made even more sense.
i really like this fic. it's a fresh take on things :)

This.... is really disturbing and interesting and tragic and so, argh, I don't know how to talk about it! I love the surprise of Tao's ability at the end, and how it makes the reader want to instantly re-read the story and see how it plays out. You do a great job leading the reader along, like what forum do they meet on! and HOLD UP WHAT IS THE ROPE FOR and that really drew me into the story and basically trapped me into it, haha, and wouldn't let me go until the end. At that ending! I almost wish it were more ambiguous, not just because Tao ;___; but because it would fit the apprehensive mood of the whole story, you know? Because it really did, for me, read like up until that last moment, when Tao jumps, it could have gone either way. But anyway, TAO ;___;

haha, i have a friend who feels the same about that ending! x) she's the one i mentioned in the author's note, the one who wanted a happy ending lol. i was actually supposed to end at the train station scene for a more ambiguous end, but then it felt like there was no proper closure somehow, so this happened. i'm sorry for killing off Tao ;___;

this has a continuation though, so maybe there's a happy ending somewhere :)
