WELL.
"Seven of Us" is dead. Surprisingly well received by an audience not large enough to be taken too seriously; but dead none theless. I say dead knowing there will be significant revisions and potential for professional engagements in coming years. But I'm finished with it for now - I think I did a reasonably good job directing (so I'm told) so I'll let it die for now.
I don't konw what to do with myself now other than work for Action... go white water rafting this weekend - wallow in my lack of monetary funds. I was loosely propositioned by Markham LIttle Theatre to direct something this soming season, but I think I'd rather learn more about the art first. I have many readings to do.
My next most immediate project will be music directing Joseph and the technicolor shitty looking dream coat in concert for a cancer benfit (August 31st). That'll liely include all the wonderful people I WANT to work with this time: Jeff Jones, DC, Jesse, Todd, JP, Paul, etc... Then attentions will be turned to both school and writing the treatment for the much anticipated halfway-house-mistaken-identity-farce musical (with mature themes and dark substancial subject matter hopefully) with the Tozer.
I'm looking forward to all this. May it be an good ride...
