day 4:
off to the world bank!
after the world bank, we get a couple hours to tour the Smithsonian museums. ate lunch with a kid named Muhammad Ali[UAE]. no joke, that was his name. no last name, nutn. haha he was quite a charachter. also at lunch was Ghena[Saudi Arabia], Omar[Egypt], Gary[Kentucky], Kevin[Minnesota], and jemma. stopped to take pictures in the park
^capitol hill
so we are in the park takin a picture of all of us, and this bum comes over and hes like here here ill take the picture and we all stop cause we dont want to hand him our cameras and hes like its ok im not gonna take em so he takes the pictures and then asks us for money which we sorta felt like we had to give him...then we're walkin around aimlessly tryin to find a place to eat. so we stop this random lady on the sidewalk and ask her and then this other bum dude comes up to us. he hands us all flyers for some bus tour, they looked like somethign you might find in the subway station. anywho, he hands them out to us and tells us hes part of this organization whos collecting money for a charity and he wants us to donate. Ghena points out to him that his little pamphlets have nutn to do with what hes talking about, so he gets all pissy at us and says "gimme back those flyers!" im like "take it i dont want it!" and we walk away faster...haha! then we nearly get run over in the street because Mali is a kamikazi jay walker. so then we walk around forever to try and find the air and space museum. we make a pit stop at the natural history museum where i met the meanest security guard EVAR! raahh that guy was a bastard! but anyways, we left there after 10 minutes and continued on to the air & space museum. there was this lady pilot walking in front of us on the way to the museum, and jemma said something "jobnoxious" to a car, and the lady thought we were talking to her...haha it was funny.
Mali taunts jemma by pretending to drop his camera over the balcony. haha, good timez
so me, jemma, and mali are sitting on these seats looking at the planes. and this lady sits in the seat behind mali, and her arm like pinched his or something and he goes "woah! who's there?" and jemma and i just had this histerical laughing fit. i mean it was soo funny. Jemma couldnt stop laughing and Mali was there trying to shut her up, it was absolutely hilarious
so then we have an LGM, which lasts forever! we were getting ready for the peace and security simulation and we were all tired and cranky and on the way bag to our dorm, me and Lidia were walking. and we're screaming cuss words and everything because we're all stressed out. then all of a sudden we hear all this screaming, and im shouting out "what the hell is that!?" and Lidia is like "thats some pretty horrid screaming!" and we look over to this open field and theres this whole group of peopel sitting down in front of this big screen movie! they heard everything we said and it was sooo embarassingly funny! ahahahah!
