Well, that failed...
I guess Charlie isn't working out in her new home and will be returned to Boxer Rescue soon. She won't be coming back to me, instead will go to a foster home in KC.
I am probably going to quit fostering too. My schedule just doesn't work for crate training a dog. In fact, I plan on taking Jahzy's crate down because she is almost never alone, and when she is, she just sleeps on my bed. It's hard to crate train a dog when they are never in a crate except on weekends. I can't crate a dog while I'm sleeping if the dog doesn't want to be in there. I can't afford to lose that much sleep when I drive 450-500 miles every night for work. The dogs go to work with me, sleep in the bedroom with me...
