(no subject)
I have a new job/career... strange as that may sound. I was offered a really good job, with regular hours, pay and benefits recently. I've been there about a week and a half and I LOVE IT. It's at an auto parts supply company, I spend most of my day running from one end of the store to the other, filling orders, organizing shelves and in a week I'll be a day delivery driver. It's really a lot of fun. I work with and for some really wonderful people. I was kinda sad to leave Taco Shop, but not at all sad to leave the DirecTV tech support place. Some people are really too dependant on their tv and it's hard for me to be sympathetic when I haven't had tv in years.
I have a new foster dog. His name is Isaiah, but I call him Z. Jedi went to a foster home in Kansas City so that some potential adopters could meet him. Z is here for some education in manners. He is a STRONG dog, but very sweet, he just needs to learn to be controlled by voice, not force. Week one has gone well. He now waits politely at doors until I tell him he can go through and he walks nicely beside me on a loose leash.
He despises the crate, despite the fact it's the only place he gets to eat. He's getting better, but I still have to boost him in there.
It's a beautiful, breezy day and I have clothes on the line drying....
