(no subject)
soooooooooooooooooo its an update kind of night. i'm listening to dane cook and caity is doing psych on chelsea's bed and it's a freakin fantastic time =] my semester is almost over, i'm going to TCNJ this weekend and thanksgiving break is only 2 weeks away.
i can't wait to see everyone again =] janna's on the 25th is going to be a-mazing.
i'm so scatterbrained, and i love it. i really miss a few people though, like kad and molly and megan. and seany and tag. and i really wish that i could be there for all the crap thats going on at home with them. i want to be able to drive over to sean and keep him company while he's recovering his appendix. and i want to figure out which college molly should apply to. and i want to help kad with her time management. and i want to congratulate tag the second he gets his pilots license. and i want to walk megan through the musical tryouts and AP chemistry homework. i just want to be there for them like i was able to last year. i know this is a terribly random post, and im not really sad about it, but there are just some things i feel like im missing. i got this ambiguous text during CIE the other day asking for motivation, and i didnt even know what to say cos i didnt understand the stress of the day. what kind of friend is that? i hate this distance, and i hate how everyone is on different schedules so we can never really talk about anything. but its okay, cos strangely enough these friendships are lasting and thats what matters lol.
im so flipping random, you don't have to read any of that. but obviously if youve gotten this far, youve already read it.
i really need to start sleeping again.
oh wait, i took a 5 hour nap today. i've gotten some virus thats flying around campus and i just had to sleep it off today. i sweat it out yesterday and i wake up every morning with no voice and cough all day. now, i slept all day. its not fun, and i refuse to drink theraflu. is this the flu? nah, probably not.. and i hope to god its not mono, cos thats going around too.
speaking of which (not really) i'm rushing a sorority on campus. its alpha sigma nu, a local one here... i think they have about 2 other chapters, but theyre the ones that hosted me as a red and gold and theyre really nice girls. but wow the pictures from the rushes are HILARIOUS. i'm such a mess at 80s night... ps. rushing is totally differnet from pledging. all it is is a lot of open parties to get to know the girls and where you might possibly want to pledge. you dont pledge until jan 20 so please dont jump on the fact that i dont know what im getting into or whatever, cos i have tons of time to consider my options.
but i think this is long enough now. i'll see you all on the 21st. cos thanksgiving lasts from 11/21 - 11/27 for UC =] excited?
