watched The Beach last night with my baby. made me want to go to a real beach, with no stores, people, or trash. that's what it's like on drake's island in maine. if you walk a few miles to the end of the beach, there's a small ocean inlet that you can just chill on. the water and sand bumps alternate for miles, and its beautiful, like you can see the whole world from that one spot. no one ever goes there. maybe they're all shopping.
