It took about a week; to return to the house in the Nexus, for the house and Marc to acclimate to one another, for Marc to acclimate to the Nexus in general

Harvestman would show up shortly, wearing clothes that weren't his - they were made for a man with broader shoulders, relatively new, and smelled like someone alive.
He had no idea, really, what to expect, but whatever it was, it was bound to be interesting. Alida had yet to disappoint when it came to interesting.
It's insanely difficult to adjust to a nexus house that looks exactly like your other house. All right, maybe that's an exaggeration. The pattern is mostly the same, save for that whole 'sentient house' thing. That's been interesting to adjust to.
And a little annoying. He spent his whole first night here in absolute silence, staring at a corner of his bedroom with suspicion.
But! Now they have a visitor. Who Marc will open the door for and let in. Silently and staringly.
"Marc!" She knows he's staring, come on. Enter Alida stage left, bouncing like some sort of bizarre wind-up doll. "Harvestman, this is Marc, Marc, this is Harvestman, who is another vampire and is very interesting, so we should let him in because I did invite him to meet you, afterall."
Here, Harvestman, come in! It's a very nice house. Yes.
Floating is a good word for it. Alida's in the midst of a manic upswing and loving every second of it. "These clothes are not yours," she points out, touching one sleeve and turning on her toes a bit.
"You smell like people." Alida smells like Marc and really is not in any position to be pointing these things out.
Harvestman raised his eyebrow slightly at Marc, flexing his hand. So it was true, although he had no reason to doubt Alida's word. Her boyfriend's blood certainly felt human enough.
"You certainly do make her happy," he remarked, before turning his attention to Alida. "They're Brisbane's; he hates it when I take his stuff."
"That explains the old blood." Alida shrugs. "Harvestman owes a Hunter his existence. So they are...connected, yes? In a way." Several, judging by the way he smells but.
Such things are not polite to mention. "What have you been up to? Yes, I am very happy."
The look Harvestman was giving her suggested that he knew that she knew and wasn't sure he liked it much (they had gone over this, right? Vaguely, that's right. It was vague.)
But then, Alida wasn't much for that kind of thing, was she?
"The usual," he said, letting it drop. It wasn't as if he was secretive about his so-called love life. "There's still a lot of Nexus to explore; I've been working on that. How about you two?"
Vaguely, yes. And while Alida hadn't been much for that kind of thing, and still didn't really understand how Harvestman could sleep with a Hunter, she was acclimating to the idea of sleeping with people in general.
Perhaps not as easily as he manages it, but still. An improvement, of sorts?
"No exploring, yet. Mostly being glad to have found Marc or been found, I am still unclear."
It just took practice, the whole sleeping around thing.
...Not that Alida was that kind of girl.
"The life of brand new lovebirds." Oh he knows exactly what you two have been up to. Alida's flighty nature is more than enough of a hint, among other things. "I'm glad for you; you both probably deserve it the best."

Someone's doing well, he thought with a smile, stepping into the house. To Marc, he offered a hand.
"Nice to meet you."

Which is exactly why he did it.
