It's been sooooo long. There's just so much that has happened in life. I guess it's the same for everyone. I believe everyone has had moments like these in their life. Where everything accumulates and adds up to one ginormous baggage, and then take a day or a couple to sort all of it out, examine everything that's inside and decide what to keep and what to throw. At the same time it's a mental revisit of the journey thus far, remembering how each item in the baggage came to be.
And after the cleaning up, what I took away is perfectly encapsulated by this word:
sonder n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own-populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness-an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.
That each and every person is the centre of their world, the main actors/actresses of their stage, that their life is solely about THEM (not in a negative way). That in each and every individual's life they have their drama, their sorrow, their tragedy, happiness, climax, anti-climax, their perfect moments, their ruined encounters and opportunities and to each and every individual, their life is that much of one hell of a ride thus far.
Anyways, from now I'll use this space as a word dump, to carve in digital stone so that I will not forget the beautiful words and phrases that I've come across.
