[and he's by Albert's side in a second, having dropped his gun but kept the box in-hand, setting it down in favor of dragging his fingers over Albert's neck in search of a pulse. slides his hand under Albert's shoulders and hefts the body carefully over his arm to get a better look--]
[...just starts shaking again, putting the box down before he really does drop it and hefting Albert gently over his lap. pulls off his gloves and settles both hands on the sides of Albert's face]

[well, hey, at least no one conscious is around to hear his voice crack]
